2020 Popcorn Update

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!! November 20,2020

Thank you for supporting Scouting by buying popcorn or donating popcorn to our military troops. Because of your help and support, we were able to get to our combined goal of selling $3,500 worth of popcorn! That is such a LOT of popcorn!!!

In total, Mark and James sold $3,795 worth of popcorn which is going to help local scouts a lot! (John just provided encouragement and support this year as he has earned enough in past years to fund the rest of his journey to Eagle, which he has just finished! Congrats John!) Specifically this is what you helped us to raise:

• • $1,404.15 (37%) is going to the Pennsylvania Dutch Council to help support facilities, events and other scouting activities

  • $1,366.2 (36%) is going to our Pack and Troop so that we can go camping and do other fun things, and part of that will be reserved for our use to help us on our trail to Eagle

  • $1,020 worth of popcorn will be sent to our military troops, veterans and their families because of your generosity

  • $227.7 (6% of popcorn sales) is going to be split between our scout college accounts to help us pay for college someday

The sale was fun and challenging for us this year, especially because of Covid-19.
