How I met the Barnstormers guy

One day I was selling as usual when I saw a car pull into a driveway. I rode to that house and a man came outside. He said that he already bought. I asked him if I could practice my presentation by giving it to him anyway and he said "you know it's a guaranteed 'no' for the sale, right?". I said "yes", and he said "you still want to show me your presentation?" and I said "yes", so he agreed to listen and give me some tips.

After a few minutes of showing my slideshow to him he gave me some helpful tips and then he said "You know, I do sales for my job, because I work for the Lancaster Barnstormers!". Then Daddy said now he realized why the man's face was familiar, and I realized that he was the guy who wears all of the funky hats and does the contests during the Lancaster Barnstormers games! Then he gave me some more tips, as I showed him the rest of my slideshow. I learned how to always introduce myself beforehand, to shake hands before and afterwards. I learned that it is important to give the customer time to decide what they want. I also learned to make sure to look at the person when I am talking to them, and to always smile. And he also taught me to skip to the next section of the slideshow if there is a kind of popcorn that they do not like.

In the end, he bought some popcorn, even though it had been a guaranteed 'no'. :) :) :) I am thankful that he bought some popcorn, and I am very thankful for the great tips and I am also thankful for the time that he spent giving me a private sales lesson.
